It is important to understand the different types of ADHD in adults in order to identify the best treatment options.

There are three main types of ADHD in adults: inattentive type, hyperactive-impulsive type, and combined type. Inattentive type is characterized by difficulty paying attention, difficulty following instructions, and difficulty staying organized. Hyperactive-impulsive type is characterized by difficulty sitting still, talking excessively, and difficulty controlling impulses. Combined type is a combination of both inattentive and hyperactive-impulsive types.

It is important to note that adults with ADHD may experience different symptoms than children with ADHD.
