PSYCHOLOGY DISORDERS IN MOVIES

It is fascinating to consider how many psychological disorders have been featured in movies over the years. From schizophrenia to bipolar disorder, there is no shortage of mental health issues that have been portrayed on the big screen. Anxiety disorders such as panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder have been featured in many films. Other disorders such as depression, anorexia, and bulimia have also been depicted in movies. In addition, conditions such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and borderline personality disorder have been explored in film. It is encouraging to see that filmmakers are willing to tackle such sensitive topics and bring these issues to the forefront of public consciousness. By doing so, they are helping to destigmatize mental health issues and encourage those who are suffering to seek help.
